Licensed Customs Broker

We use our in-depth expertise to service you in all Customs related activities. Customs Brokers are licensed, regulated and empowered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assist importers and exporters in meeting Federal requirements governing imports and exports. Brokers submit appropriate information and payments to CBP on behalf of their clients. Customs Brokers must be bonded and have expertise in the entry procedures, admissibility requirements, classification, valuation, and the rates of duty and applicable taxes and fees for imported merchandise.

The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America Inc. (NCBFAA) represents nearly 800 member companies with 100,000 employees in international trade. Membership includes the nation’s leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries, Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers and air cargo agents.

TSA approved IAC

We are not limited to using one Air Carrier. We can determine, and use, the Air Carrier that is most suitable and cost effective for your shipment. An Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) is a carrier that sells air transportation services to the public but does not operate the aircraft by which air transportation is provided. Indirect Air Carriers must be approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) after extensive security checks. They must strictly comply with the Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program (IACSSP) set forth by the TSA.

NVOCC licensed by the FMC

We are not limited to using one Ocean Carrier. We can determine, and use, the Ocean Carrier that is most suitable and cost effective for your shipment. A Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) is a common carrier that sells ocean transportation services to the public, but does not operate the vessels by which ocean transportation is provided. An NVOCC is licensed by the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and issues its own Customs House bills of lading and is a shipper in relation to the involved ocean common carrier.
